Tire Pyrolysis Companies 2026:
The Competitive Landscape

An independent assessment of the companies actually commercialising tire pyrolysis — ranked on the record, not on the press release.

How we rank

Tire pyrolysis has spent two decades swinging between pioneer hype and quiet commercial progress. A small number of teams have actually made it work at industrial scale; a far larger group is still selling headlines. This report separates the two — weighing operating plants, court documents, published financials and certifications rather than marketing copy.

Every company below is assessed against the same five criteria. Where a claim cannot be verified against a primary source, we say so. Where a company disputes the technology behind its own plant, the record governs.

The ranking

Eight commercial players, assessed against the same five criteria, with three further companies flagged for financial or governance circumstances.
